Crowdy Head Beach is a cherished spot for residents and visitors alike, and we are honoured to be the team transforming the existing dirt surface into a modern, safe, and accessible facility just in time for the summer holidays. Project Scope and Key Progress Updates Our crew is currently on-site, ensuring all necessary preparations and traffic control measures are in place before major construction activities begin. We’re working closely with the Council to minimise disruption while maintaining the project's ambitious timeline. What We Are Building: This upgrade is a comprehensive overhaul designed to enhance the beach-going experience significantly. Our work includes: - Car Park Sealing: Transforming the current dirt area into a durable, sealed car park . - Increased Capacity & Accessibility: Creating 109 defined parking spots , including three dedicated accessible spaces . - Safety & Flow: Implementing one-way traffic flow , clear pedestrian crossings , and connecting footpaths to improve safety for everyone. - Environmental Enhancements: Installing modern water-sensitive stormwater drainage and completing essential landscaping . We are committed to delivering a high-quality result, focusing on robust civil engineering solutions that will last. Our goal is to complete the project by mid-December , weather permitting, guaranteeing a superb amenity for the busy summer season.
